  • An introduction to Ashtanga Yoga’s Primary Series—where everyone begins

  • How to customize or adapt the physical practice to your unique circumstances

  • An overview of the two different ways of practicing Ashtanga Yoga: Mysore Style & Led Classes

  • Everything you need to be ready to join a Mysore class

  • An overview of Ashtanga’s history and its modern day context

If you are a beginner in yoga, this workshop is a great way to begin learning a well established system step-by-step. If you have been a long time practitioner of any method of yoga, it’s an opportunity to begin deepening your personal practice and expand your yogic repertoire.

After this 2-hour workshop you will be ready to join any Ashtanga class—led or Mysore. You’ll have all the tools you need to begin a transformative personal practice, custom tailored to your individual circumstances and needs.
